Our next book is "Foreskin's Lament" by Shalom Auslander. Discussion, to be lead by Alice, will be held on Thursday, April 22nd.

You can imagine that Alice is just beside herself, especially since there's also a rumor that Mr. Auslander himself just might stop by and roll his eyes at our comments. At which point, Alice will lose her mind.
For those of you with kindle, go ahead and download it now. The rest of you should know that amazon is practically giving the hardcover's away for even cheaper than the kindle or paperback price. And whichever one of you lurker types delurks and sticks your hand out first, we'll totally send you the book for free. Just one of you, though. I have it all downloaded and ready to go. I'm reading the fourth Maisie Dobbs book right now, though, so it's going to have to wait.

Kelly, yay!!! Polly has been telling me all along we had lots of real live readers, who we don't know personally, since she's the one who sees our traffic report. But I still had the idea in my head that no one besides the people commenting and maybe a couple of my high school friends ever read us. You made my day.
